AMENEH MOAYEDI

Artista visual, diseñadora gráfica, curadora y fundadora de iniciativas artísticas internacionales con sede en París, nacida en Irán. Su práctica multidisciplinaria abarca el diseño gráfico, el arte del cartel, la instalación, la performance, la edición y los proyectos colaborativos, explorando temas como la libertad, la memoria, la justicia social, los derechos de las mujeres, la paz y la identidad cultural.
Formada en Diseño Gráfico en Irán, posteriormente obtuvo una Maestría (DNSEP, Master 2) con honores en Comunicación Visual de la École Supérieure d’Art de Cambrai, Francia.
Ha desarrollado un lenguaje artístico distintivo en el que la creación visual se convierte en una herramienta de resistencia, diálogo y conciencia colectiva.
A los 21 años, presentó una exposición individual en la que denunciaba las ejecuciones públicas en
Irán, lo que marcó el inicio de un compromiso de por vida con el arte y el diseño socialmente comprometidos.
Su obra se ha expuesto en más de 60 países de Europa, Asia, América y el Oriente Medio, a través de importantes bienales, trienales, museos, festivales y exposiciones internacionales. Entre sus participaciones recientes se incluyen Estados Unidos, Corea del Sur, China, Polonia, Rumanía, Hungría, México, Canadá, Colombia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Irak, los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (Dubái) y Panamá.
En 2022, fundó y actualmente dirige «Poster for Iran», una plataforma internacional que ha reunido
a más de 250 artistas de 50 nacionalidades en apoyo al movimiento «Mujer, Vida, Libertad». El proyecto ha generado más de 500 carteles expuestos en todo el mundo y se ha convertido en un símbolo reconocido de solidaridad internacional con las mujeres iraníes y la lucha por los derechos humanos.
Paralelamente a esta iniciativa, cofundó Shushana, una plataforma dedicada al diálogo intercultural, el intercambio artístico y la creación de conexiones significativas entre comunidades a través del arte, la memoria y los valores humanos compartidos. (Judeo persia)
Ameneh Moayedi ha recibido numerosos galardones internacionales, entre los que se incluyen el Premio René Clément Bayer (Francia), el Premio a la Excelencia en el Festival Internacional de Carteles de Hehua (China), el Premio a la Excelencia Creativa en la Semana del Arte y el Diseño de Changsha (China), el Premio Stellar de Bronce (EE. En esta pieza, deconstruye los movimientos de la composición de Sergei Prokofiev, transformándolos en símbolos visuales, invirtiendo los papeles de Romeo y Julieta y creando un diálogo sensorial entre la tensión y la poesía.
Más allá de su práctica artística, colabora regularmente en iniciativas culturales internacionales como curadora, asesora y miembro de jurados. Forma parte del Consejo Asesor de FATart (Suiza) y ha sido miembro del jurado y del comité de selección de varios concursos y exposiciones internacionales de carteles.
A través de su trabajo artístico, curatorial y educativo, Ameneh Moayedi aboga por el arte como una fuerza viva capaz de fomentar el diálogo, defender la dignidad humana, fortalecer la memoria colectiva y crear nuevas posibilidades de libertad y esperanza.

Her multidisciplinary practice spans graphic design, poster art, installation, performance, publishing, and collaborative projects, exploring themes of freedom, memory, social justice, women’s rights, peace, and cultural identity.
Educated in Graphic Design in Iran, she later earned a Master’s Degree (DNSEP, Master 2) with honors in Visual Communication from the École Supérieure d’Art de Cambrai, France. She has developed a distinctive artistic language in which visual creation becomes a tool for resistance, dialogue, and collective awareness.
At the age of 21, she presented a solo exhibition denouncing public executions in Iran, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to socially engaged art and design.
Her work has been exhibited in more than 60 countries across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East, through major biennials, triennials, museums, festivals, and international exhibitions.
Recent participations include the United States, South Korea, China, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), and Panama.
In 2022, she founded and currently directs Poster for Iran, an international platform that has brought
together more than 250 artists from 50 nationalities in support of the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement.

Ameneh Moayedi has received numerous international distinctions, including the René Clément Bayer Prize (France), the Excellent Award at the Hehua International Poster Festival (China), the Creative Excellence Award at Changsha Design Art Week (China), the Bronze Stellar Award (USA), the Excellence Prize at the Beijing Design Biennale (China), and the Bronze Award at the Opus Artis Paris International Art & Design Competition (2026).
She received the Bronze Award at the Opus Artis Paris International Art & Design Competition 2026 for her work Suite Roméo et Juliette. In this piece, she deconstructs the movements of Sergei Prokofiev’s composition, transforming them into visual symbols, reversing the roles of Romeo and Juliet, and creating a sensory dialogue between tension and poetry.
Beyond her artistic practice, she regularly contributes to international cultural initiatives as a curator, advisor, and jury member. She serves on the Advisory Board of FATart (Switzerland) and has served as a jury and selection committee member for several international poster competitions and exhibitions.
